Walking home from the bus stop, with my earphones snuggly in place and blocking out all other sounds, I cross a road in the other direction. I’m deep in the music and not paying attention when all of a sudden, i feel a strong thud on my left arm. I come back to reality to see a large grey lorry on the other side. I take off my earphones to hear the horns of the lorry and a very upset driver looking back at me.

I take my bike out for a ride in the rain and I look up into one of the large leafy green trees. I hear faint meows from atop the overgrown plant. I brake and get off to take a closer look and to my horror, there is a man hugging onto one of the branches. “Why is he meowing though?” I ask myself. His eyes turn to slits and he leaps off the branch he held onto like a bolster. He lands on his hands and legs as if he’d only jumped from a few inches high. He stands on his legs and starts performing magic to me. I then realise his tree stunt was part of an illusion but until this day I have no idea how he did it.
